The dictionary kernels are very slow to compile, and requiring them for the comparison_kernel benchmarks therefore makes for very slow iteration cycles. This PR reworks them to instead be optional.
Benchmark runs are scheduled for baseline = f4d4f76 and contender = 72ad8a7. 72ad8a7 is a master commit associated with this PR. Results will be available as each benchmark for each run completes.
